What Backup DR Smart Ultimate does

Backup DR Smart Ultimate is a complete data-protection platform for cPanel & WHM. It backs up every account — full, incremental and block-level — encrypts each backup on your server with AES-256 before it leaves, deduplicates it, and ships copies to the cloud destinations you choose while keeping a local vault, so you always satisfy the 3-2-1 rule.

Recovery is the point: granular, point-in-time restore of a whole account, individual files, databases or mailboxes — to the original or an alternate account — with every restore sandbox-checked first and itself reversible. The DR Center scores your recovery readiness, runs automated drills, keeps signed runbooks and can fail over with one click, measuring real RTO/RPO.

It also protects against ransomware with immutable, object-locked offsite copies and anomaly alerts; adds AI insights (anomaly detection, capacity forecasting, recommendations) computed only on your own data; and generates ISO 27001, PCI-DSS compliance evidence from real activity. A Fleet view covers multiple servers, with Prometheus metrics and email/webhook alerts.

Installs as a WHM plugin. Program code is licensed through InfinityInstaller.

Requirements

cPanel & WHM server with root access (CloudLinux, AlmaLinux or Rocky Linux).
EA-PHP 8.4 (ea-php84) with the ionCube Loader 15 — installed automatically.
PHP extensions: json, openssl, curl; plus tar, gzip, rsync and MySQL client tools.
Outbound HTTPS for licensing and your chosen cloud destinations; disk space for the local vault.
